These Are The Best Pokemon For Legendary Raids In Pokemon GO

Best Pokemon For Legendary Raids

With Pokemon GO’s first anniversary right around the corner, legendary Pokemon are probably only weeks (or possibly days) away from being added to the game. Since we believe that it’s always good to be prepared, we’re going to list all of the best Pokemon for legendary raids in this article.

Just like we did with our previous article on the best Pokemon to use against 3 & 4 star raid bosses, we’ll list each of the legendary Pokemon in Pokedex order, include some important details, and then tell you each of the best Pokemon for legendary raids afterwards. But first, there are some assumptions we need to make.

Since Legendary Pokemon aren’t available in game yet, we’re going to assume that their in-game stats will be calculated just like other Pokemon’s stats have. We’ll also assume that the legendary Pokemon will be caught at level 20, and will have the same movesets that they have already been assigned in the game’s code.

Of course, in reality these details could easily change when legendary Pokemon are actually added to the game. If so, we will update this list accordingly. Also, a huge thank you to Pokebattler who ran all of the complex simulations which enabled us to write this list of the best Pokemon for legendary raids!

  1. Why are there so many Sudowoodos? Even with two rock type moves it is not great. Did Mystic7 help you to do this list?
And Gengar with Focus Blast against Lugia??
I definitely agree with Traxor. This is not correct.

  2. You guys are wrong on a lot of movesets. Like dragonite Dragon Tail + Hyper Beam being better than DT+ Outrage. Or Tyranitar bite + crunch not being a duel stab moveset vs mew and mew two.
