Fire And Ice Event In Pokemon GO Could Begin Next Week, According To Leaked Information

Fire And Ice Event In Pokemon GO

According to a brand new leak, there could be a fire and ice event in Pokemon GO, starting as soon as next week. The leak itself comes from a group known as TeamEeveelution, who have accurately predicted both the Water Festival event, and the Easter event, days before the events were officially announced.

What will this fire and ice event in Pokemon GO feature? If the leaks are to be believed, we’ll see an increased spawn rate for Fire type and Ice type Pokemon, and we’ll also receive additional XP for performing certain actions in-game. Lucky Eggs will also be on sale.

Here’s what the leak itself says:From 1:00 P.M. PDT on June 13 to 1:00 P.M. PDT on June 20, 2017, Trainers around the world will discover more Charmander, Cyndaquil, Growlithe, Houndour, Ponyta, Swinub, Vulpix, and their evolutions. You’ll also want to keep an eye out for Sneasel, Magmar, Cloyster, and other Fire types and Ice types!

For anybody who still needs to get their gold Ice & Fire medals (like me), this event will be incredibly helpful. It’l also be great for anybody who still needs to evolve some of the rarer Fire & Ice type Pokemon, like Cyndaquil, Swinub, and Shellder.

The leak continues with: “It’s time to perfect your Poké Ball throws, Trainers! Throughout the event, you’ll receive huge XP bonuses for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws, as well as Curveballs and First Throws. Additionally, as you walk around your neighborhoods or discover new sights, you’ll earn even more XP for hatching Eggs.

And, finally, the leak ends with this: “To help you take advantage of these awesome XP bonuses, Lucky Eggs will be 50% off in the in-game shop. Get ready to explore the world around you—there are even more exciting updates coming your way soon!

Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but if the past is anything to go by, TeamEeveelution’s leaks are legit, and this event could be officially announced within the next few days. We’ll be sure to update this post when any new information is revealed!
